Great Britain Men |
GB Men would like to thank all the family, friends and businesses who
helped support Great Britain Men on our journey to Taiwan. We are
indebted in gratitude to everyone who helped each of us reach our
enormous fundraising target.
We were heartened by the kindness and
collective passion to help us achieve our target shown by all our
supporters, who helped in many different ways - ranging from organising
a hat party, taking collection buckets on the London Underground,
partaking in sponsored events and dipping into their pockets to sponsor
our players via just giving website. Additionally, a big thank you must
go to the people who provided us with training facilities and teams to
play against in our preparations during the run-up to the Deaflympics.

NDCS's 'Deaf Friendly Football Club' project needs
a dynamic individual to manage this unique and high profile scheme and
move it forwards over the next two years.
The Deaf Friendly FC project is more than just football - it is about
using football as a mechanism to train and mpower young deaf people by
creating greater awareness of deafness in society and increasing access
to football for deaf players, volunteers, officials and coaches. This
role is exciting, challenging and varied.
