In a shocking defeat, GB Men find themselves failing to even make the
quarter finals of the 21st Deaflympics. GB were on a roll 1-0 up from
Clarke in the 8th minute, but it all started to go wrong when USA were
able to finish off their scarce chances at goal. Despite GB on the
constant attack, and Hogan making his first debut game for GB, it was
not enough. This loss means USA go through to the quarter finals on
goal difference.
GB face South Africa next in their bid for 9th-12th place play offs.
