Carly Waters and Lisa Nepean were presented with £1000 each this week by Essex and Southend Sport Trust.
Receiving the cheque from Joe Sims from EASST, Carly said "I was delighted to received £1000 from EASST which has boost my funding, a huge thank you to Joe Sims and EASST to enable me to compete my second Deaflympics and to enjoy the international experience again. I also received £500 from Gerry and Hillsborough Justice Campaign, another huge thank you for their kind donation."
Lisa said she was thrilled to be recognised and supported by her local area's sports trust.
