Great Britain Women |
A cold and windy day in Glasgow, is not exactly when you expect to see a women's football team jumping about in excitement. But that's exactly what GB Deaf Women were doing at the gates of Murray Park.
The team coach, George McGowan, had organised a weekend of training at Murray Park with one of the Ranger's coaches, as well as a tour of the facility and a chance ot ask questions. The weekend ended in a game against the Rangers womens (under 18) development team.
The team have to thank Gary Gibson for making the weekend possible as well as Paul Nash for giving up his time to coach the team. Also, the front reception staff for beng amazingly kind, helpful and patient - as well as the great tea for the supporters!
"The weekend was an amazing experience" said one of the team "the facilities and structure was unbelievable, but really motivating" The team played very well against the development squad, who were amazing well trained and very fit.
