On behalf of GB Deaf Women Football (GBDWF), we would like to convey our congratulations to the England Deaf Women Futsal team for their recent success at the World Deaf Futsal Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria. They won the bronze medal which was a fantastic result considering how popular futsal is across the world but not so in England.
GBDWF were pleased to see the majority of their players representing England and their achievement demonstrates their ability to be amongst the top teams in the world for many years to come. Once again, this is something GBDWF and women's football teams should be proud of particularly in the deaf community and the deaf sports community.
