| GBDWF Training Weekend cancelled |

On behalf of GBDWF, we wish you all a joyful new year and that you all had a good Christmas break.
The GB football training weekend planned for 23rd/24th February is now postponed until March (George McGowan, the Head Coach will advise once all is confirmed). The only reason is because England Deaf Women is also holding a training weekend on the same weekend. So, we, the GBDWF are not giving you (who are already selected for England) any difficulty in choosing which training weekend you want to attend. We are also committed to work together with the English FA and will continue with preparations for the World Cup and the Deaflympics.
Also I am sad to let you know that Emma Stevens has now resigned as a
Secretary. I, as a chairperson, will continue to check on all e-mails
so the e-mail address (gblfsecretary@yahoo.co.uk) will stay the same if any
of you wish to communicate with GBDWF in future.
