Great Britain Deaf Men's Football has a new addition to
their Management team - Chris McGinn, an experienced coach with a most
impressive CV to his name, having coached the following teams: Bristol
Rovers,
Bristol City, Gillingham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Fulham, Queens Park Rangers,
the
Football Association and Ghana. He
is currently coaching the Fulham Deaf Football team as well as being
manager of
their reserve team.
His presence in the GB set up as Head Coach has already been
felt; his style has made a tremendous impact on the GB players who had
been
seeking fresh ideas for their 2011 European Deaf Football campaign. The
GB Manager has had a few meetings
with him including an initial interview, and was so impressed that he
had no
hesitation in taking him aboard. Being hearing, Chris has adequate deaf
awareness and BSL skills hence has established a healthy rapport with
the GB
players which augers well for the future.
Welcome aboard, Chris!
