The GB Deaf Team recorded an impressive first leg victory over Israel Deaf Team in their 2011 European Deaf Football Championship Qualifier at Motspur Park on Saturday.
The GB Deaf Team won 4-1 at Fulham's Training Ground in front of 250 spectators. The second leg will be played in Tel Aviv in May. If the GB Team can make their advantage count next month they will qualify for the European Deaf Football Championships to be held next year in Odense, Denmark.
GB Men are currently the silver medalists, having lost to France in the final, held in Lisbon, Portugal in 2007.
